Zay Jones will be missing in action for the rest of his team’s spring practices.
The Bills wide receiver underwent knee surgery last week and will be sidelined several weeks as he recovers, coach Sean McDermott announced Thursday.
“At this point we aren’t concerned this injury will jeopardize his season,” McDermott told reporters, adding it was “best for us to get this done now.”

A timetable for Jones’ return remains unknown, though he’s still expected to start the regular season opposite Kelvin Benjamin.
Jones, 23, logged 27 catches for 316 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games for Buffalo last season.
