There’s a chance Rockets guard Chris Paul returns for Game 7 against the Warriors.
Chris Paul is a “game-time decision” for the final matchup of the Western Conference Finals, Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said Sunday. D’Antoni said the Rockets will play Paul’s return “by ear.”
D’Antoni said he does not think Paul has tested the hamstring at all. Just treatment. Doctors will determine his status. “I think it’s a game-time decision.”

D’Antoni on CP3’s rehab: “I think it’s going good. He looks questionable. I’m sure the team doctors will check him out tomorrow. We might not know until afternoon. We’ll play it by ear.”

D’Antoni initially said Paul was questionable for Monday’s game. But, when asked again, he said the star point guard was “doubtful” to play, according to a report from the Houston Chronicle.

MDA on CP3: “I think it’s a game-time decision, whatever it is, probably doubtful or questionable. They will eventually test it and see if there is any possibility whatsoever.”

A report Saturday from ESPN said Paul was “less likely than likely” to play in Game 7.
Paul injured his right hamstring in the final minute of Houston’s Game 5 win when he collided with Warriors guard Quinn Cook while driving to the basket. Paul missed the Rockets’ Game 6 loss.
Paul is averaging 21.1 points and 5.8 assists per game in the playoffs.
The Warriors and Rockets will play Monday at 9 p.m. ET for a spot in the NBA Finals.
