Let’s get this out of the way so you don’t think we’re click-baiting or trolling with the headline: No, Eli Manning isn’t one of the top Week 11 fantasy waiver wire pickups, but that doesn’t mean he should be ignored when waiver claims clear around 4-5 a.m. ET on Wednesday in ESPN and Yahoo leagues. As you gear up for the final push for the fantasy playoffs, it’s all about making the right waiver and free agent adds based on your team’s situation, and if you need a miracle, someone like Eli might be the right streamer in an optimal matchup this week against Tampa. Players like Derrick Henry, Doug Martin, Frank Gore, John Ross, Josh Doctson or even Brandon Marshall might have more long-term value, but if you’re 4-6 or 5-5, winning this week is all that matters.
Fortunately, our full free agent list is packed with potential one-week streamers, particularly at TE and D/ST (which can be found at the end of this list). The defense pickings are slim, but we have a few boom-or-bust plays that could come through. As far as QBs, Manning and Dak Prescott (@ ATL) are really the only options, but given their matchups, they might be better than your usual starting quarterback this week. The WRs are plentiful as always, and we even have some worthwhile stashes at RB if you’re thinking at least two weeks ahead. If you’re looking for a new kicker because of the six-team bye week, give our Week 11 kicker rankings a glance — then punch yourself for wasting your time with fantasy kicker rankings.

It’s unlikely there will be many waiver claims this week, and if you’re holding onto a top-three spot, you’re best served sitting tight unless you can grab Doug Martin and need a back this week. Martin faces the worst defense vs. RBs in Week 11 (Arizona) and has extremely favorable matchups in Weeks 13 (KC) and 15 (@ CIN). As much as we like some of the WRs available this week, none seem worthy of a high waiver claim. And, again, do not use a waiver claim on Eli Manning, and if you do, don’t blame us.

Unless otherwise noted, only players owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues considered.
Brandon Marshall, WR, Saints. At 34, Marshall looked pretty washed this year with the Seahawks (19.4 yards per game, one TD), but the lure of the Saints high-powered offense is sure to have some fantasy owners looking to pick him up. Tre’Quan Smith hasn’t stepped up as a viable No. 2 receiver, so New Orleans has opportunities in the passing game behind Michael Thomas and the running backs. With favorable matchups in three of the next four games (vs. PHI, vs. ATL, @ DAL, @ TB), Marshall has a chance to provide some WR3-caliber stats ahead of the fantasy playoffs and in the first round.

Eli Manning, QB, Giants. Funny, right? No, we don’t think Eli is “back” because of his three-TD performance against the 49ers on Monday night, but a matchup against the Bucs in Week 11 makes him a potential streaming option. Tampa managed to keep Alex Smith in check last week (and has been better as a whole over the past several weeks), but it’s still allowing the most fantasy points per game to QBs, giving up over 300 passing yards and almost three TD passes per game. Manning doesn’t figure to have much value beyond Week 11, so by no means should you use a waiver claim on him, but he can pay off as a free agent add this week.
WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end
Josh Reynolds, WR, Rams. With Cooper Kupp out for the year, Reynolds will become the Rams No. 3 receiver and have a chance to get some meaningful touches. Considering that the Rams have a favorable matchup in Week 11 against the Chiefs, Reynolds can be added as a potential streamer for this week at least. The Rams also have favorable matchups for their WRs in Week 13 (@ DET), Week 14 (@ CHI), and Week 15 (vs. PHI).
WEEK 11 DFS CASH LINEUPS: Yahoo | FanDuel | DraftKings
Josh Adams, RB, Eagles. Adams led the Eagles in carries (7) and rushing yards (47) for the second straight game in Week 10, but obviously the raw numbers weren’t overly impressive. The 6-2, 225-pound rookie looks like Philadelphia’s best runner, and given the strength of its offense, he could pay off in a big way down the stretch if he gets more carries like coach Doug Pederson says he will. Philadelphia’s remaining schedule isn’t overly favorable aside from a Week 12 matchup against the Giants, but Adams still has a lot of upside.
