Jean Segura injury update: Mariners shortstop back in lineup Monday after infected arm

Mariners star shortstop Jean Segura is back in the lineup Monday against the Orioles after missing four games with an infection in his right arm.

Segura is slugging an impressive .334/.359/.480 with 52 runs scored, six home runs, 44 RBIs and 14 stolen bases this season.

Initially only expected to miss one or two games, Segura reportedly suffered some stomach discomfort after taking his antibiotics.

The Mariners (47-31) entered Monday’s game 4 1/2 games behind the Astros in the American League West, but still in great position for at least a wild-card berth.
