Jordan Montgomery’s season is over.
According to MLB.com, the Yankees starting pitcher will have Tommy John surgery Thursday.

The team has not announced the situation as of yet.
Montgomery left his start against the Astros on May 1 after just one inning with elbow tightness.
Manager Aaron Boone told WFAN in May he expected Montgomery to be out six to eight weeks. The Yankees placed him on the 10-day disabled list after he left his start.
The 25-year-old was having a good season when he got hurt as he was 2-0 with a 3.62 ERA in 27 1/3 innings pitched.
