Live Cricket Score: Sri Lanka vs South Africa, 2nd Test, Day 3, Colombo

After a one hour struggle on Day 3, South Africa have managed to strike. Lunginsani Ngidi tempts Karunartane in to a drive only to get an edge off his bat. Quinton de Kock pouches his 150th Test catch to end the fourth wicket stand. Taken in 34 Tests, he becomes the fastest ‘keeper in the world to the landmark. For the fourth time in the series, the Karunaratne has managed to score a fifty and failed to register a three-figure score. Time for drinks!

Angelo Mathews and Dimuth Karunaratne have been steady in the first half an hour on the Day 3 morning. The lead is closing in on the 400-run mark. Keshav Maharaj, who had bagged nine wickets in the first innings has been largely ineffective, even though he has picked both the wickets that fell to bowlers in this innings.

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the second Test between Sri Lanka and South Africa. Led by South Africa’s uninspired bowling and a poorly applied display of batting, Sri Lanka took control of the game.
