Quinton de Kock pouches his 150th Test catch to end the fourth wicket stand. Taken in 34 Tests, he becomes the fastest ‘keeper in the world to the landmark. For the fourth time in the series, the Karunaratne has managed to score a fifty and failed to register a three-figure score. Time for drinks!
Angelo Mathews and Dimuth Karunaratne have been steady in the first half an hour on the Day 3 morning. The lead is closing in on the 400-run mark. Keshav Maharaj, who had bagged nine wickets in the first innings has been largely ineffective, even though he has picked both the wickets that fell to bowlers in this innings.
