NBA Draft 2018: LiAngelo Ball works out for Lakers as Lonzo looks on

LiAngelo Ball worked out for the Lakers on Tuesday as his older brother, Lonzo, watched from the sideline.

LiAngelo, who had his stamina, shooting, speed and rebounding put to the test, has additional workouts planned with the Warriors and Clippers. However, his father, LaVar, has made it clear that he wants all three of his sons to play together in Los Angeles.

While Lonzo’s journey from UCLA to the Lakers as the No. 2 overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft was easy, LiAngelo will face a much tougher task. The 19-year-old left UCLA in December during his freshman season after a shoplifting scandal in China and played professionally with Lithuanian team Vytautas Prienu alongside his younger brother, LaMelo.

LiAngelo averaged 12.6 points while playing in the Lithuanian league before returning to the United States last month.

The Lakers hold the 25th and 47th picks in next month’s draft.
