Dez Bryant is expected to meet with the Browns.
The 29-year-old wide receiver will visit with Cleveland sometime next week, according to a report from NFL Network. Bryant was cut by the Cowboys in mid-April after spending his entire eight-season career with the team.
The #Browns are expecting a visit from free agent WR Dez Bryant during the middle of next week, likely Thursday, I’m told. He’s been waiting for the right fit, so this visit could be as important as whatever contract offer may come. They have to mesh well.

Cleveland and Bryant were reportedly discussing a one-year contract late last month. But, ESPN reported last week that the Browns believed he was not “seriously interested” in playing for them.
Bryant recently said on Twitter he “wouldn’t mind playing for the Browns.”
The veteran was selected to the Pro Bowl three times with the Cowboys and led the NFL with 16 receiving touchdowns in 2014. Last season, he registered 838 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Bryant made headlines last month when he criticized Dallas’ play-calling as well as former teammates Travis Frederick and Sean Lee on Twitter.
The Browns have reportedly also inquired about free agent wide receiver Brandon LaFell after they traded Corey Coleman to the Bills on Sunday.
