News of Robert Kraft’s solicitation charge traveled to the White House, and President Donald Trump came out in support of the Patriots owner.
Kraft has been charged with soliciting prostitution as part of a wide-ranging probe into a Jupiter, Florida, massage parlor targeted in a human trafficking investigation, police said Friday.
“It’s very sad,” Trump said. “I was very surprised to see it. He’s proclaimed his innocence totally.”

Kraft, 77, was one of 25 men charged after an investigation by police in Jupiter into the Orchids of Asia Day Spa. According to police chief Daniel Kerr, the Jupiter Police Departement has video evidence of all the men charged.
A statement was released on behalf of Kraft disputing the charges: “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”
The NFL has also released a statement saying it is “aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments.”
