Yorkshire vs Leicestershire
Kane Williamson hit a brilliant 77 off 41 balls, laying into his side’s decision to bat first with 5 fours and 5 sixes. Opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore struck a more sedate 44-ball 53 and combined with David Willey’s 17-ball 31 at No.3 to lift Yorkshire to a very handsome 187 in the allotted 20 overs.
Chasing, Leicestershire were 49 for 5 inside the powerplay. Cameron Delport got off to a quickfire start but couldn’t carry on, succumbing on David Willey on 20 off 8 balls. Jack Brooks along with with Willey accounted for the first five batsmen, and handed the visitors a heavy defeat.

Surrey vs Glamorgan
Surrey’s tall 195-run target wasn’t enough as Glamorgan hunted down the total with an over to spare, thanks to Graham Wagg’s unbeaten 46 off 26 balls. The chase was built around Kiran Carlson’s 32-ball 58 and was given the early impetus in the powerplay by Craig Meschede’s 19-ball 43.
It was Nic Maddinson’s 70 off 45 balls that had set up Surrey’s total earlier. The No.3 batsman hit 5 fours and 3 sixes, only to be run out in the last over with three balls remaining. As a result of the win, Glamorgan hopped over Surrey to the fifth spot in the South Group points table.
